Even as a 40-year coder in tech and computer science, I instantly and correctly concluded, when they arrived, that social media like Facebook is just for fuckwits and morons! And before their advent, they were mostly unseen, enabling me to pretend these idiots did not exist. Not now, as the dumbest dip-shits on the planet can now become seen and have a voice.
So you will never find me on moronic social media under any circumstance... :-)

Instead, when happily adventuring in a digital 'OPEN WORLD', or from within a useful forum conversation on Reddit, will a stranger be able to establish contact with me... Finding friends via the gaming world is far superior to the 90% dumb fuck users of Twitter, TikTok, and the like.
